                  -Merriam-Webster Dictionary

"Give yourself a compliment every.  I know this sounds sill, but it really is important. As girls, we spend countless hours focusing on our flaws and trying to correct them or cover them up. It's essential to focus on something you like about yourself. Maybe you're having a good hair day or your skin is looking especially healthy. Take a moment each day to focus on the good, and then try to carry that with you through out the day, because whiles bangs don't look good on everyone, confidence does."

                              -- Beauty; Lauren Conrad

All of my friends (including myself) started our beauty journeys similarly lined with horrible hair moments(bad dye jobs, volume, length variety), unfortunate makeup errors as well(white eyeliner was the when I was in 7th grade, roll on glitter & the list goes on). Also a bad signs of the time(especially in high school), -over straightening, gel, &  butterfly clips too! However it is all just part of growing up and figuring out who you are, as well as your own style too.

Finding a great hair dresser that can telegraph(huge help), what would look best on you for you(face shape& coloring),- life changing!

All of this is a part of finding your inner beauty! it can be a bumpy road, but it eventually gets way smoother!

Playing dress up is always fun but it can also be a great look when you look in the mirror and recognize what you see!

Just as LC stated in her book "Beauty," I certainly agree! By giving yourself a compliment every day it starts to create positivity. When or if you start with one compliment daily, I promise you will start finding all sorts of things that you enjoy about your self. Confidence is key! The moment you start loving you for you the more happiness you create & lets face it happy girls are the prettiest!
